Powerbook Friendly

I’m the proud owner of an Apple iBook notebook. I’m quite happy with it, but at the same time I’m tempted to change it for one of the new breed of Powerbooks, since they have reduced their price in a very interesting way. This can sound a little dumb, but I need more power for my applications (Reason, Photoshop, etc.) and I don’t want to spend US$ 2500 in a G5 dual processor computer (It could be really nice, but money is always an issue). My main problem? I live in a Spanish speaking country and my iBook has an English keyboard layout. I’m going to offer it through eBay to see what happens. The worst case scenario would be to have two laptops, and using only one… I’m confident that someone will help me out.

It’s alive!

I used to believe that this web blogging software was difficult to manage, but happily, I was wrong. I’m starting to understand how this thing works. It is not difficult at all. My first modification attempts were some kind of successful. I think that I must learn some PHP (only the basics) to get better results. The best thing? I can post my articles with ease. Customization is a nice thing, but it is not the most important for the moment.

Fortunate Lives

Look at you for a moment. What do you see? I think I know the answer: you probably punish yourself too hard. “I see worries, that I’m ugly/fat/tall/short, problems, not enough money”. Have you stopped only once to think that you are surrounded by people with lots of trouble, sickness, that do drugs, smoke, trapped in alcoholism, workaholic, with very dark and dramatic stories behind, and they do continue to run their lives in the way they can? I don’t think so. Many of us keep complaining about that our lives are too boring or flat, but this is not true. We are really lucky, but (this is like a noir-humour joke) almost always we need that life hits us hard to realize that. Stop being stupid and start living your life without waiting for “that” to happen. Remember, tomorrow never comes…

Yes, thanks to a dear friend, I finally made it to the net. It’s been a hard way, since my knowledge in these matters is really limited, but I wanted to open my mind to the world, to say many things that I think that should be out there, and not only for myself.
